Lesson 1: Understanding the challenges of virtual meetings

Many of the techniques you know about communicating in person will apply equally to communicating and building trust in a virtual environment.

Yet, there is also that additional level of challenge when communicating virtually.   It’s just that bit harder to read people and harder to really notice subtle clues about how they are responding to what you say. 

This means that you need to put in extra effort to build trust and connection.  But, it doesn’t mean that it has to be difficult or time consuming.

In this course you are going to learn techniques that you can implement immediately in order to see immediate results.  While they will take a little effort and possibly even a little more time, the impact on your ability to build trust and connection in a virtual world will be worth it.
